Surprise surprise. We have two kids and I’m slow to post photographs. Sorry y’all.

Today, I tried an experiment for dinner and it was fantastic. It’s a two-parter:

  1. I ate pork. Normally, I think ick.
  2. We tried an awesome community supported kitchen. This place — called Three Stone Hearth — uses exclusively local, organic ingredients in amazing food prepared in Berkeley that you can order based on a weekly menu. Fantastic. Kinda pricey, but it made me feel so good. Holden loved the pasture-raised pork stew (and asked for seconds) and I ate it just fine.

After recently finishing The Omnivore’s Dilemma: A Natural History of Four Meals (and still having challenges to get food ready with one helper perched right next to me and one wannabe scurrying around the floor), this was a welcome relief.

ok, more pics and stories tomorrow. And Happy New Year! See November pictures now!
