First, and most important, Alec is an uncle, I am an aunt (pronounced “ant”), and Holden has his first first cousin. Baby Dalia Rose G was literally born yesterday (4.10.06) at a delicate but perfect 6 pounds 14 ounces. Heather and Ben are doing well. I don’t know if she was born in the same hospital as Moses Martin but I’m a little obsessed that they will grow up and be delighted that they were born within hours and miles of each other.

The kid is one week shy of eleven months… and then one month shy of a year. At one year, he is allowed by the AAP to drink cow’s milk. Sure, I drank 2% milk at 3 months, but modern medicine tells us to wait. So, we wait.
