Valentine’s Day yada yada yada
Happy February to you. This morning, I woke before sunrise, rode my cruiser bike to the BART station and met Monica for breakfast at the Ferry Building. On Sunday I celebrated that Holden has been living on the outside for as long as he was on the inside by partaking in sushi and cocktails with some girlfriends. That makes him sound like a parolee, but really I’m just the proud mama of a nine-month old.
In case you’re growing tired of stories of crying, pooping, and dabbling in solid foods, I thought I’d try to make it seem like our lives are about Other Things. Hmmm…
- I’m reading some books (currently Kite Runner and most recently the highly controversial, A Million Little Pieces).
- I’m working on a website with Whitney.
- I’m training for a triathlon with Olivia to be completed the week before Holden turns One.
- Alec and I went to a rock concert to see his funny friend Eugene perform and paid more for babysitting than the rest of the evening (oops! I got off message for a second).
- I work half days for wine.com.

Lastly, Alec had a funny dream a few days ago that still makes me laugh to think about. He told me with the absolute certainty that the sleepy sometimes have, that it might have actually happened. He dreamed that I put a blueberry in Holden’s diaper to help him sleep better. 
So that’s what’s truly funny in our house these days.
