Holden has become very vocal in the past week or two. Amidst the babbling, gurgling and raspberries, many a profound utterance has leaked from his wise mouth.

While we’re not exactly sure what his first word was, I’ve been keeping a mental list of some of the many things he’s said:

• Hi
• Mama
• Michael
• Unagi
• Thanks
• Cool
• Glue

Unagi was perhaps the most surprising, because while he met someone named Michael at around 6 weeks of age, he hasn’t even seen sushi since his first week. I guess no more TV for him until he’s nine.

As we’ve moved on from our round-the-world travels and into the world of baby, we decided to redesign the website. So after a little photo shoot and some careful web hacking between naps, we present to you our new look!

Well, it’s been a time warp for us but it’s true: Little Holden is 9 weeks old and smiling. And screaming. And lifting his head… but still bobbing it around too. Enjoy the pictures. When I put him to bed, I often look at them myself.
