The newest Flibbs
The newest “Flibbs” has arrived!
Holden Alexander was born late thursday night (May 12th) - at 8lbs, 6oz, he’s one healthy lookin’ kid! Heather’s water broke (very) early wednesday morning, so Mama is focused on recovering at home after an absolutely heroic effort. Dad is proud beyond words of both of them. And all three are very thankful for all of Meggan’s efforts throughout the whole affair. We couldn’t have gotten through it without her support and encouragement.
Heather’s mom has arrived and is already helping us get settled at home. Thanks to her we’re able to settle in at home with minimum stress!
Local folks: We look forward to visitors starting in the next few days. If you’d like to visit, please let us know! A few guidelines for visiting:
* it would be helpful if you could pick out a few specific times/days you can come and we can figure out something mutually convenient..
* please expect to limit your visit to around 20 minutes this week - both Mama and Baby need lots of time to rest and recover, and they’ll need Dad’s help too!
* we’d love just to see you, but food is always welcome too
Pictures are on the way, and will be posted as soon as we can sunday!

Welcome to the neighborhood, Holden! We’ll wait for your invite.
Welcome to parenthood, Flibbs. It’s all day and all night and gets better every month. Please don’t deprive us of pictures any longer!

Congrats, Heather and Alec. I am very anxious awaiting these pictures. I’m sure glad that everyone involved is healthy and happy. I can’t wait to see pictures of my young nephew. Will he be the first golfing triathlete sophisticate? Either way, I am very proud to be a new Uncle!!
